Steelbridge has been selected for the Data Economy Spotlight 2026 list, published by TIEKE — the Finnish Information Society Development Centre — in partnership with Data Spaces Alliance Finland. The list highlights companies and solutions that are meaningfully advancing the Finnish data economy.
The Data Economy Spotlight 2026 was announced at the Data Economy Forum on 28 May 2025 in Helsinki — an annual gathering of data economy actors, regulators, researchers, and technology companies. This year's event focused on the practical implications of the EU Data Act and the emerging infrastructure needed to support compliant data sharing at scale.
Steelbridge was recognised for its work in making EU Data Act compliance accessible and operationally scalable for IoT and connected-product manufacturers. The selection reflects growing recognition that compliance is not just a legal challenge — it is a technical and infrastructure challenge that requires purpose-built tooling.

What the Spotlight recognises
The Data Economy Spotlight 2026 identifies solutions that go beyond compliance and contribute to the growth of Finland's data-driven economy. Steelbridge was highlighted for providing a platform that handles the technical obligations of the EU Data Act — consent, access APIs, data contracts, audit logging, and trade-secret protection — as a managed service.
The recognition comes at a critical moment: the EU Data Act entered full application in September 2025, and many companies are now actively working to close their compliance gap.
